This unique reading group invites you to engage deeply with Jung’s visionary experiences in Liber Primus — the first part of his extraordinary journey into the unconscious. Guided by two experienced psychotherapists, Stuart Lee1 and Rebecca Neale2, you’ll explore Jung’s powerful imagery, its psychological and spiritual implications, and how it resonates with your own unfolding path.
A short introduction to Jung’s Red Book can be found here.
Why join this group?
- Experience the text, not just study it — enter Jung’s world of symbols and inner transformation.
- Connect his visions to your own life journey, insights, and challenges.
- Explore links between the Red Book, Jungian psychology, creative and imaginative processes, and ancient esoteric traditions of initiation.
- Engage in rich, reflective dialogue in a safe, open, and well-held space.
- Grow through shared inquiry with others on similar paths.
Whether you consider yourself a seasoned Jungian or are new to Jung’s work, this group offers an accessible, meaningful, and thought-provoking way to engage with one of the most significant texts in depth psychology.
Ideal for:
- Individuals seeking personal or spiritual growth
- Psychotherapists, counsellors, and spiritual guides or directors
- Students of mythology, depth psychology, or Jungian thought
- Anyone curious about visionary experience, the creative process, symbolic meaning, and inner transformation
What Participants Are Saying:
“Inspiring, interesting and thought provoking. A well-held, safe group to explore diverse ways of thinking and being.”
“Very informative for me as I’m quite new to Jung and, again, a good balance between the learning material and discussion.”
“I looked forward to our discussion every week, took my reflections of the discussions with me through the following week and feel that I now understand Jung’s contribution to psychological, philosophical and even religious/spiritual thinking with much greater depth. I found the course riveting.”
“I’ve had difficult experiences with online training but this felt collaborative and enjoyable.”
All participants in our previous group rated the course as “Excellent” and said it exceeded expectations.
